Individual molecules of air acquire energy and try to escape away from each other, and out of the bottle. Some of them are able to get past the egg blocking the mouth of the bottle, which is why the egg wiggles sometimes.
Due to its peculiar shape, the egg is partially inside the bottle already. By the time the flame dies and the air molecules inside the bottle cool down, the air pressure inside the bottle is drastically lower than the air pressure outside. Now the outside air starts pushing the egg inside the bottle. This is how the egg goes inside the bottle.
We use the same technique in reverse to get the egg out. We get the egg to the mouth of the bottle and blow hard into it. As the outside air goes inside the bottle along the sides of the egg, it starts pushing the egg out this time.)
